Day 01 –ADDIS ABABA – BALE MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK | Begin your journey to Depart south from Addis Ababa to Dinsho, which is where the headquarters of the Bale Mountains National Park is located. Here we will organize the trekking for the next day. Overnight in Dinsho. |

Day 02– START BALE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK TREKKING | Starting from Dinsho, trek to Adelay via the Geysay Valley and the Web River, viewing the Web waterfall along the way. During the hike, there will be wonderful chances to see the Mountain Nyala, Menelik’s Bushbuck, Bohor Reedbuck, and possibly Colobus Monkeys. Trekking will take 4 – 5 hours. |

Day 02-TREKKING BALE MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK | Trek to Wasama through a beautiful landscape with stunning views. Pass through Mararo Valley where the Lammergeyer and Verraux Eagles keep nests. There will also be a chance a seeing the Ethiopian Wolf and other species of birds. Around 7 – 8 hours of trekking. | ||||

Day 05 -SHORT TREKKING TO SANETTI PLATEAU | Today you will explore the Sanetti Plateau, a great place to see the endemic Ethiopian wolf. You will also visit the Crane Lakes. A final ascent will be made to the top of Tullu Deemtu, offering spectacular views of the surrounding areas. In the afternoon, you will be met by your vehicle and taken to Goba for overnight. | ||||
Day 06-DISCOVER SOF OMAR CAVE | Early in the morning, depart from Goba to the Sof Omar caves. The most famous spot of the caves is the Chamber of Columns, with limestone pillars up to 20m high. From the entrance, you will follow a trail through several other chambers; Web River, which snakes through the cave, seven times. The birdlife in the area is very abundant. Afterwards, continue to Dinsho or Dodola for overnight. |

Day 07 -DRIVE BACK TO ADDIS ABABA AND DEPARTURE | Last day Drive back to Addis Ababa with stops on the way at Rift Valley Lakes. Enjoy dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant featuring dancers and musicians representing some of the country’s many ethnic groups. Transfer to airport for late night departure. |

Domestic Flights: | A strict luggage restriction of 20kgs per person and hand luggage, applies to all light aircraft flights within Ethiopia. It is important that you carry soft-sided or “barrel” bags, as hard-sided suitcases (Samsonite-style) cannot be fitted into the small holds of light aircraft if you use the charter flights on this program. |
